In 2012, on the shores of Maui, Val and John’s story began.

Val had arrived from Italy, chasing waves and sunshine. John, already rooted in the island lifestyle since the 80’s shared that same love for surfing, the ocean, and nature. What started in the water quickly turned into a deeper connection.

Food became the bridge between their worlds. John had built his culinary career at the Marriott in Lahaina, where he learned to create memorable dining experiences. Val, in Milan, discovered her passion through intimate bistros and small, curated gatherings.

Together, they blended their cultures, their stories, and their love for cooking into one shared vision.
