I always loved Chocolate and cookies but my first love was lemon !
Lately this is my special dessert … and it’s very easy to make !
- 8 oz egg whites
- 16 oz sugar
- 1 organic lemon zest
- 4 oz sliced roasted almonds
Beat the egg whites until stiff.
Add the sugar gently and keep mixing ….
Add also the lemon zest and the almonds and keep mixing gently…
Using a sac a poche (or simply a spoon) arrange the mix on parchment in the oven at 212F for 2 hours.
Let the oven cool down without opening it.
Keep your meringues in a hermetic container.
